DIY Project Owls

For the last week me and the parents have been stripping wallpaper, painting and pasting. We’re redecorating my preteen bedroom and I’m so excited to share it with you! When it’s done, I’m going to write a nice big post with the progress that we’ve made with lots of photos.

Here is one of me looking super professional to give you an idea of what’s to come.

You Know That I Love You, So…

Our Steampunk Crew

Oh hey, you with the really pretty face, you with the extremely muscley body, you with the super cute haircut, I love you. Yes, you. And I think that in return to my wondrous love, you could take a look at my Kickstarter page for my Steampunk web series pilot! No, I’m not asking you to pledge any money (although that’d be freaking SWEET), I’m just asking you to take a look and share it around to all your lovely friends! Share, share, share! That’s the thing because there are plenty of Steampunk people out there who would love to know about this or even be involved!

This is really all I have to update on, I’m the worst blogger in the world, I know, but I’m still here! Trust me! Keep your eyes peeled 😉

The City’s Wings: Have You Heard of the Street Angels?

I realise it’s been a while, and that I’m procrastinating at the moment – I have a 3,500 word essay to be getting on with, but that’s

no matter right now – but I wanted to tell you about the Street Angels documentary that I’ll be posting on here in the next few weeks. For our documentary project we were told to create a ‘human interest’ story and we found the Street Angels. If you don’t know who they are, they’re a group of people who volunteer on a Friday and Saturday night to walk around York and help vulnerable people. Our

documentary follows them on a typical shift and we get to meet some of the people involved, especially the woman who set it up.

So look out for this, and spread it around; let’s get these people some recognition!

I am a Predator Premiere

And so it is that after a year of hard labour, and not so hard labour, we have almost reached the end of the Predator road. As I’m sure a lot of you know, this film has been a big struggle for us for various different, inexcusable reasons, but at least we’re almost there. All that remains to happen is the sticking together of the different scenes and the actual showing.

Which leads me on to mention the ‘premiere’, as such, that we’ll be holding, inviting the many amazing cast members and of course the whole of the two/three crew members. During this time, we’ll be handing out some well-deserved gifts to the cast for all their time putting up with the squabbles and disagreements of shooting etc etc.

All I can say now is, I’m kinda glad that it’s finished, it’ll be good to see all the work put into one thing finally.
